Beyond Game Development: A Journey to WGT Leipzig

Our team member Lunaria has just uploaded another WGT vlog.

While the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig may not be directly related to game development, it represents another facet of our team’s interests and serves as a major source of inspiration for the atmosphere, themes, and emotional approaches that shape many of our creative projects.

Join us on our journey to Leipzig and experience the world’s largest gothic festival through our eyes. Along the way, you’ll also get the chance to learn more about two of our team members and the people behind our ideas.

We hope you enjoy the video!

Beyond Writing: The Role of Narrative Design in Games | From A Narrative Perspective

Our team member Kjeld Stormarnson recently published the first video in his new series, “From A Narrative Perspective,” on his channel. In this series, he explores the intersection of game design and game writing, with a broader focus on narrative design as a discipline.

The kickoff episode primarily addresses how to articulate the core responsibilities of narrative design and how it differentiates itself from game writing.

    Global Game Jam 2026

    WE STARTED A NEW STORY

In January 2026, we participated in the Global Game Jam 2026 under the theme “Masks” and began developing a demo for a game created with RPG Maker MZ. As we usually work with Unreal Engine 5, we decided to use the highly accessible RPG Maker MZ engine for this jam to craft a JRPG-inspired horror experience.

The story is set in Austria during the 1950s. In the days leading up to the Game Jam, Lunaria quickly learned how to work with the engine and created the infamous Graf Mansion in the mountains, where we set out to tell the story of a new maid named Amalia. The demo primarily serves as a teaser for the setting and gameplay, but the prototype inspired us to expand the concept into a full adventure.

We are currently continuing work on this project and look forward to keeping you updated here. With this, we are also excited to confirm that “Offering” is entering a new phase of production.
